Clinton County Cub Scout Pack 387 held its local Pinewood Derby race on Monday night with almost all of their members present. The Pinewood Derby is a time-honored tradition in scouting and this was the first race to be held in Clinton County in quite a few years. Each scout did a wonderful job designing and building their race cars. The families of the scouts also got to participate in the fun of building and racing in an “Outlaw” category. Justin Shadoan (1st), Devin Stockton (2nd), and Luke Cash (3rd) were our top racers. The District Cub Scout Pinewood Derby will be held at the Somerset Mall on April 20 and is open to the public.
