On Monday, 70-degree weather brought all three spring sports to their respective fields/courts to get a kick start on the new season.

In the above photo, tennis coaches Leslie Brown and Tammy Denney spent the first part of their practice conditioning in order to build up stamina and get the players in shape to prevent injury through out the year.

In the photo right, Clinton County Senior pitcher Jonathan Branham worked with Senior catcher Travis Garmon Monday. Head Coach Patrick Stalcup will take the reigns this season for his second year as head baseball coach. Stalcup almost has a full field this season. As soon as basketball is concluded, several other players will be able to take the field.

In the below photo, Head Softball Coach Darrell Thompson timed his players as they ran the bases during Monday’s practice.

Thompson said his girls have been working all winter on fundamentals and could be ready to play inside this week. He also said this year looks to be a promising year.

Official practice for all three sports began on February 15.
