Ethan Cook started on the mound Thursday as Clinton County hosted Green County during the home opener. The Bat Dawgs were defeated in six innings, 11-1. Clinton County was also defeated by Southwestern on March 8, 18-0, and Taylor County on Friday, March 15, 15-0.

Left fielder Michael Collins went back to make a catch early in the game against Green County. The Bat Dawgs were defeated Thursday, 11-1. Clinton County was back in action Tuesday against Pickett County, too late for press deadline, and will play on the road Thursday against Clay County, TN. The next home game is Monday, March 25, against Adair County at 5 p.m.
