Bat Dawgs score 20 runs against Pickett County

Above, Jonathan Branham got the runner out at second and first for a double play during Clinton County’s home game Friday against Pickett County. Pickett County got up on the Bat Dawgs early in the game, 3-1, but Clinton County rallied in the closing innings to pick up its first win of the season, 20-10.

Third baseman Parker Means ventured into foul territory to get an out Friday against Pickett County at John Emmitt Polston Field. Clinton County won the game by a final of 20-10 and move to 1-4 on the year. The Bat Dawgs played Tuesday and Wednesday, too late for press deadline, against Monticello and Wayne County respectively. The Dawgs will also play in the All “A” Region Friday against Monroe County.

Clinton County will play its next home game on April 5, against McCreary County.
