KDFWR hunter education range/test day

The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife will be conducting a hunter education range/test day only in Clinton County. It will be held at the Lakeland Coon Club located on Five Springs Church Rd., off Boss Brown Rd., Tuesday, April 9 from 5-8 p.m.

In order to receive a hunter education certificate the student will need to complete the classroom sessions via an alternative method. If planned in advance you can call the Department at 1-800-858-1549 and request a CD sent via mail. You can also access an online course by going to the Department’s website (fw.ky.gov) and a link to online courses can be found on the hunter education page. The student will need to bring the proper paperwork showing the completion of the classroom sessions.

Anyone born on/after January 1, 1975 who is 12 years old or older is required to carry the hunter education certificate. The minimum age to attend in nine years old.
