Curtis L. McWhorter, 72, Albany, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Clinton County Hospital. He was the son of the late Jesse and Willie Thornhill McWhorter and was also preceded in death by three sisters, Georgia Roland, Emma Chaffin and Anna Grace McWhorter and three brothers, J.F., Arthur and Bill McWhorter.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth McWhorter, Albany; a daughter, Debbie (Tommy) Huckaby, Monticello, KY; three sons, David (Leisa) McWhorter, Greenfield, IN; Dean (Cheryl) Coffey, Byrdstown, TN; Dennis (Stacey) McWhorter, Albany; a sister, Cozy Crabtree, TX; also four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Weldon Haddix Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Simpson officiating. Final resting place in Hillcrest Cemetery. Arrangements made through Weldon Haddix Funeral Home of Albany.
