Vernell Albertson, 88, Albany, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a member of Caney Branch Baptist Church, and wife of the late Reed Albertson and was also preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Albertson and three brothers.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Brenton Adams; three sons and daughters-in-law, Teddy Albertson; Junior and Sue Albertson and Donnie and Vicky Albertson, all of Albany; two sisters, Shirley Teeple, Sun City, AZ; Mary Dean Dull, Ft. Wayne, IN; also 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Caney Branch Baptist Church with Bro. Donald McGill and Bro. Tim Albertson officiating. Final resting place in Caney Branch Cemetery. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy are suggested to Caney Branch Cemetery Fund.
