Albany United Church of the Nazarene Children’s Quizzing Team had its final competition for the year in Columbia, Kentucky on Saturday, March 23, 2013. Those competing on red level, pictured above, were, left to right: Zoe Massengale, Brianna Little, Malachi Upchurch, Adam Whittenburg, Taylor Dorn and Connor Rowe. They received first place as a team. Two quizzers were honored in the Top Ten Quizzers in the state – Connor Rowe was ranked eighth and Malachi Upchurch ranked sixth. Adam Whittenburg also received special honors as he scored high enough to qualify for World Quiz.
