Alice Burchett Dickerson, 85, New Castle, Indiana and a native of Clinton County, passed away Monday, April 8, 2013. She was the daughter of the late L.E. and Edna Grider Burchett and was also preceded in death by her husband, James Gordon Dickerson; three sisters, Eva Conner, Jimmie Maupin and Sally Copeland and a brothers, L.E. “Pete” Burchett, Jr. She was a member of First Baptist Church in New Castle.

She is survived by two sons, Michael (Rita) Dickerson and Stephen (Laurie) Dickerson; a daughter, Margaret (Phil) Haley; also nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, April 12, 2013 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in New Castle. Final resting place in South Mound Cemetery. Arrangements made through Macer-Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Services of New Castle, Indiana. Online condolences may be made at www.macerhall.com.
