James Winfred Cross, 79, Albany, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Cross, two sisters, Jean Gibson and Mary Dean Smith and one granddaughter, Jennifer Michele Turner.

He is survived by three daughters, Barbara Cross, Burkesville, KY; Peggy Cross and Lisa Stockton, both of Albany; two sons, Jackie Cross, Edmonton, KY; Kenny Cross, Albany; four sisters, Sue Garrett, Becky Daniels and Shirley Hickman, all of Albany; Laura Ellen Richwine, IN; five brothers, Allen, Earnest and Bro. Carl Cross, all of Albany; Lloyd Cross, Burkesville, KY; Robert Cross, Columbia, KY; a half-brother, Lyle Scott Cross, Albany; also 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Brown, Bro. Donnie Shelley and Bro. Donald McGill officiating. Final resting place in Davis Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
