Lura Shelton, 87, Albany, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Clinton County Care and Rehab Center. She was a member of Parker Community Church in Byrdstown, Tennessee, wife of the late Clarence Shelton and was also preceded in death by two sons, David and Donald G. Shelton.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Larry Hardin, Bow, KY; three sons and daughters-in-law, Dee and Valarie Shelton; Randy and Wanda Shelton and Ricky and Billie Shelton, all of Albany; also 11 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 21, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Shelley and Bro. Jim England officiating. Final resting place in Cartwright Cemetery. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
