Bonnie Massengale, 89, a resident of Pickett Care and Rehab Center in Byrdstown, Tennessee and formerly of Albany, passed away Friday, April 19, 2013 in Byrdstown. She was a member of Davis Chapel United Methodist Church, was the wife of the late Elmer “Pete” Massengale and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Juanita Rains and a son, Jimmy Massengale.

She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Della and Everett Neal; Judy and Sherman Greene; Loretta and Bradley Marcum, all of Albany; Carol and James Mounce, FL; a son, Mike Massengale, Albany; also 17 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. David Stearns and Bro. Charles Tone officiating. Final resting place in Davis Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
