Dannie Warren Barber, 80, New Castle, Indiana and a native of Albany, passed away Friday, April 19, 2013 at Henry County Hospital in New Castle. He was the son of the late Herlan G. and Nancy O. (Pemberton) Barber and was also preceded in death by three brothers, Lester, Earl and Freelan Barber. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and member of First Church of the Nazarene.

He is survived by his wife, Ida Barber; a daughter, Kim (Hayden) Ooten; a son, Nathan (Rhonda) Barber, all of New Castle, IN; a brother, Gayle (Oleta) Barber, Byrdstown, TN; six grandchildren, Danielle Chew, Laura Leffler, Jennifer Murdick, Hayden C. Ooten, Rachel Rewerts and Nicholas Barber; two great-grandchildren, Jillian and Ethan Chew; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 22, 2013 at 1 p.m. at First Church of the Nazarene in New Castle with final resting place in South Mound Cemetery. Arrangements made through Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service of New Castle, Indiana. Online condolences may be made at www.hinsey-brown.com.
