Lake Cumberland Head Start program is now accepting applications for children ages zero to three, and pregnant women in the Clinton County area for the 2011-2012 school year.
Children for the upcoming year will be accepted in April.
Early Head Start is a child development program that provides comprehensive services to income eligible parents and families with special needs. Qualified staff operates a center-based facility that is developmentally appropriate for children zero to three years old. The center provides and environment with numerous learning opportunities and learning experiences that meet the needs of young children.
Applications can be picked up at the Early Head Start Center, located at 102 Cody Lane (Terry White Building) or call 387-7470 Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 a.m./2 p.m. or e-mail: rebecca.parrish@lc-hs.org.
Please bring the child’s birth certificate, income verification, medical card/insurance numbers, and social security numbers for the members of the household.
