Already looking ahead to next year

Come Clean Car Wash

While most thoughts of high school athletes right now are turned toward the ending of the current seasons and school year, already there are plans in the works for next season.

Our C.C.H.S. Gridiron Dawgs football team is hosting a fundraiser to help with summer and fall expenses that lie ahead with a chance to “come clean” this Saturday.

The football team is hosting a car wash this Saturday, May 18, at Advance Auto Parts. Stop by Saturday and let the Dawgs shine your ride. All donations will be appreciated.

Lady Bulldogs Basketball Camp

Next up will be the Clinton County Lady Bulldog Basketball Camp, slated for the end of this month, May 28-30. Camp cost are $40 for the first camper, $30 for each additional child in the same family as long as the registrations are in by May 26 (late registrations will be an additional $5 per camper.

Campers will receive t-shirts and medals along with chances at other daily prizes.

Future Lady Dawgs will receive instruction from coaches Darrell Thompson, Tim Hicks and Jessica Conner, as well as from the members of next year’s varsity players.

The C.C.H.S. Volley Dawgs are also looking to next season – and beyond, in the form of a fundraiser as well as getting the younger potential players better prepared.
