The Clinton County Racket Dawgs and Lady Racket Dawgs finished its season last week with a trip to the regional tournament.

On the girls’ side, Bianca Soma made it past the first round by winning her first singles match, 6-0 and 3-0, but lost in the second round, 6-0 and 7-5.

In doubles play, Keisha Patrick and Kristin Smith won the first round game, 6-4 and 6-4, but lost in the second round, 6-1 and 6-1.

For the boys’ team, Chris Cox won his first round game, 6-4 and 6-3, but lost in the second round, 6-4 and 6-2.

Kolby Smith also played in singles play, winning the first round game, 6-2 and 6-1, but falling in the second round, 6-0 and 6-1.

In doubles play, the team of Glen England and Haley Matthews won their first match, 6-1 in both games, but failed to move past the second round, losing 6-0 and 6-4.

The team of Kyle Choate and Zack McFall were defeated in the first round by a final score of, 6-3 and 6-3.
