Lady Bat Dawgs win two straight

Jordan Goodman and Ansley Stalcup both went for a pop fly ball during Thursday’s game against Pulaski County. The Lady Dawgs won the game, 2-1, over the Lady Maroons as well as Monday’s game against Monroe County, 8-4. Clinton County moved to 10-15 on the year.

Right fielder Baylee Baker caught a fly ball early in the game against Pulaski County. The Lady Bat Dawgs won, 2-1. Clinton County will travel to Russell County in the first round of the District Tournament on Tuesday, May 21, to take on the number one seed Metcalfe County. The game is set for 5 p.m.

Taylor Delk laid down a bunt in the second inning against Pulaski County. The Lady Bat Dawgs moved to 10-15 on the year by defeating the Lady Maroons on Thursday and Monroe County on Monday. Both the baseball team and softball team will play in the opening round of the district tournament on Tuesday, May 21. The Bat Dawgs will face host Russell County at 5 p.m. as the Lady Bat Dawgs will face Metcalfe County. Both teams are the number four seeds in the tournament.
