Gleema Pearl Tallent, 84, Charlie Tallent Rd., Albany, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Clinton County Care and Rehab Center. She was the wife of the late Hurt Tallent and was also preceded in death by two daughters, Frances and Pam Tallent and three sons, Bobby, Barry and Daryl Tallent; four brothers, Norman, Kirby, Coleman and Welby Stearns and a sister, Dolly Reed.

She is survived by four sons, Lawrence (Brigitte) Tallent, Louisville, KY; Roy Tallent, Glasgow, KY; Miller (Teresa) and Michael Tallent, both of Albany; a brother, Ben F. Stearns, Albany; two sisters, Georgia York, IN; Cressie Prince, Albany; also 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a niece, Marie Lair of Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 20, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Aaron Chapel Separate Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Ridge, Rev. Clifton Cowan and Rev. Mike Cooper officiating. Final resting place in Aaron Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements made through Weldon Haddix Funeral Home of Albany.
