Opal Hunter, 91, Tennessee Rd., Albany, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Clinton County Care and Rehab Center. She was a member of Albany United Methodist Church, wife of the late Hobert Estel Hunter and was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tiffany Thompson and a brother, Howard Upchurch.

She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Deloris and Brian Thompson and Linda Hunter; a sister, Irene Guffey, all of Albany; two grandchildren, Andrea (James) England and B.J. (Megan) Thompson; and three great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Harper Thompson and Benjamin England.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 20, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Shoemaker officiating. Final resting place in Piercey Cemetery. Arrangements made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
