Band, FCCLA students recognized at recent Clinton County School Board meeting

Two groups of students were recognized at the Clinton County School Board meeting on Monday, May 13, 2013. Students in the Clinton County Band program who participated in Solo and Ensemble, LCMEA All District Band, Western Kentucky University Honors Band, and Lee University Honors Band competitions were commended on their success throughout the school year. The Clinton County Band Director is Mr. Doug Sell.

Also recognized were the four Clinton County High School Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) regional officers from Clinton County. Kaylee Burchett is the Vice President of Public Relations. Cody Starns is the Vice President of Parliamentary Law. Briana Conner is the First Vice President. Keleigh Cross is the Vice President of Community Service. Region 14 includes Clinton, Cumberland, Adair, Russell, Casey, Taylor, Green, Pulaski, and Wayne counties. The Clinton County FCCLA Sponsor is Mrs. Kathy Hunter.

All students were praised by Superintendent Bernard and the school board for their outstanding achievements.
