Commencement ceremonies began around 7 p.m. Friday night in the Lindle Castle Gymnasium with 95 students receiving their diplomas.

During the awards ceremony, Principal Sheldon Harlan announced $928,168 in KEES awards and scholarships combined were handed out during graduation.

In the above photo, seniors threw their caps in the air after receiving their diplomas.

The tradition of decorating the tops of the caps has picked up a following as Paige Armstrong, bottom right, showed off her cap just before graduation began, using it to announce where she will be heading for the next round of her educational experience.

In the bottom left photo, students lined the hallway before entering the gym to begin Friday night’s commencement cere-mony.
