James A. Burchett, 60, New Castle, Indiana and a native of Albany, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. He was the son of the late Johnny and Elizabeth Dicken Burchett and was also preceded in death by seven brothers and four sisters.

He is survived by five sisters, Francie Frost, Dottie (Gerald) Pope, Colene Marcum, Louise Brown and Jean (John) McLaughlin; two brothers, Doug Burchett, New Castle, IN; Bill (Clara) Burchett, Albany; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Macer-Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Services with final resting place in Green Hills Memory Gardens in New Castle, Indiana.
