Travis Brummett, a WKU student from Albany, KY, was awarded the Outstanding ACM Student Award from the Department of Computer Science at the WKU Ogden College of Science and Engineering Student Awards Ceremony on April 21, 2013, at the Carroll Knicely Conference Center in Bowling Green, KY.

The award was presented by Dr. Qi Li, professor in the Department of Computer Science at WKU, at left.

Travis would like to extend his gratitude to all the excellent instructors of the Computer Science Department, without whose help and guidance he could never hope to succeed. Through his classes and night clerk position at Northeast Hall, he has discovered that a person can do great things if they put forth the effort. After graduation, Travis plans to continue his education in graduate school. He is considering pursuing a Ph.D.
