On May 24, Pickett County Sheriff Chief Deputy Steve Wilbur made a routine traffic stop which led to two arrests.

Upon further investigation, it was found that the driver had an outstanding warrant from Pickett County General Sessions Court for failure to appear. After obtaining consent to search the vehicle, methamphetamine and pseudophedrine was found.

Bradley Joe Rednour, 35, of Monticello, Ky., was arrested and charged with General Sessions Capias, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of Schedule II methamphetamine and promotion to manufacture methamphetamine.

Connie Lee Roberts, 51, of Albany, Ky., was charged with possession of Schedule II methamphetamine, promotion to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Assisting Wilbur was Sheriff Dana E. Dowdy, deputies Brandon Koger and Josh Smith and Sgt. Elbert Conner.
