Ethel (Cheek) Smallwood, 72, wife of Ronald Smallwood, Lakeview Drive, Albany, and formerly of Laurel County, passed away Monday, June 17, 2013 at her residence. She was the mother of Delbert Smallwood, Hobart, IN; Ronavan Smallwood and Rhonda Asher, both of Albany; Donna Sue Campbell, Wheeler, IN; and Shonda Skelton, Westville, IN. The sister of Kenneth Cheek, East Bernstadt, KY; Troy Cheek of Wheeler, IN; Roscoe Cheek, Mountain Home, AR; Susie Burns, Corbin, KY; Sonia Lipps, Valparaiso, IN and Brenda Cheek, Greensburg, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 21 at 11 a.m. Eastern time at London Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Cox and Bro. Bob Sawyer officiating. Burial will follow in Hoskins Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Eastern time Thursday, June 20, 2013 at London Funeral Home in London, Kentucky.
