Knoxie Olean Lackey, 84, Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away June 15, 2013 in Indianapolis. She was the daughter of the late Leo and Sarah (Phares) Stockton, wife of the late Frank H. Lackey and a member of the Pentecostal Church of Promise.

She is survived by her children, Sue Bentley, Brenda Mullinix, Connie Childs, Shirley Thompson, Marie Manuel, Kim and Billy Lackey, all of Indianapolis, IN; Nancy Brown, Clayton, IN; Jimmy Lackey, Plainfield, IN; J.R. Lackey and Theresa McFarland, both of Avon, IN; a brother, Howard Stockton, Beech Grove, IN; two sisters, Golda Staley, Louisville, KY and Grace Wray, Burkesville, KY; also 32 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan-Memorial Park with final resting place in Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana.
