Clinton County Fiscal Court had a brief call meeting last Thursday morning, June 27 with five of six members present and one item of business on the agenda.

The court, on a motion by Magistrate Mickey Riddle and seconded by Magistrate Hershell Key, voted 5-0 to approve an end-of-fiscal year transfer of $3,000 into the ambulance service fund. The fiscal year ended on Sunday, with the new 2013-14 year officially starting this past Monday, July 1.

The court meeting was then adjourned.

Since the next regular meeting date of the court falls on a day when fiscal court members will be attending a necessary county officials conference, a meeting date for the July meeting, which will be a special meeting, will be announced later.
