What’s new at the Clinton County Public Library. www.clintoncountypubliclibrary.org.
The Clinton County Public Library has been awarded a Books For Children grant. The library must receive $350 in donations from local businesses, clubs or patrons. The amount can be anything from $1 to $350. The total must be $350. The library will receive $1,050.00 worth of books from the Libri Foundation. This is a really good grant. We have received it twice in the past. Please try to donate to this grant.

Dr. Thomas G. Barnes will be at the Clinton County Public Library on July 16, 2013 at 5 p.m. He will be speaking on his book “Wildflower Myths and Realities.” Please try to attend. It looks to be a very good program.
The library now has a subscription to Ancestry.com. It is free for library users.
The July reading program started on July 2, 2013. Children in grades K-4 must read five books per week. If in grades 5-8 they must read one book per week on their reading level. They must have their list turned in each Saturday by 11 a.m. to be in the drawing.
