SODA meetings
The support group, SODA (Survivors of Domestic Violence), meets every Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Clinton County Health Department. For more information call 1-800-755-2017.

Narcotics Anonymous group meets each Monday and Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Albany. These meetings are open to anyone wanting to address their drug and alcohol problems.

VA Officer available
Gary Jones, Veterans Benefit Field Representative for Clinton and surrounding counties, will be in Glasgow at 216 E. Public Square, Lower Level, every day except for the first Tuesday, second Monday, second Thursday and third Monday each month. Zumba classes offered
Zumba classes will be held on Mondays and Thursdays from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Optional-before each class beginning at 5:45 p.m. Zumba basic step routines will be covered. (Again, this is optional and offered to beginners and/or participants who are relatively new to the class.) What is Zumba? Zumba is an aerobic fitness program using music based on salsa, meringue, cumbia, raggaeton, calypso, soca, samba, African, cha cha, hip hop and other music. Classes are offered for people of all abilities. Classes are for adults and students 9th grade and up. Having a dance background is not required, in fact, most participants won’t have any dance background. Fees are $5 per class. How do you register? Just show up for class. The next LCADD Regional Water Management Planning Council Local Workshop meetings will be held April 5. All groups will meet at the Lake Cumberland Area Development District. Group 3, which includes Albany Municipal Water and Sewer, will meet at 1:30 p.m. It is very important that all water and sewer entities are present at this meeting. 22-3

Motorcycle Ride
and Cookout
Cumberland County Hospital Relay for Life Team is sponsoring the 3rd Annual Motorcycle Ride and Cookout on Sunday, April 10 (rain date April 17) at Dr. Schickel Memorial Park in Burkesville. Fee is $15 per bike and $5 for extra passenger and includes the price of the meal. Relay Easter Pageant
A Relay for Life Easter Pageant will be held Saturday, April 9 at Veterans Memorial Building on Upper River Street in Burkesville. Registration and sign-up begins at 11 a.m. with the pageant at 12 noon. Age groups include girls 0 to 18 years, boys 0 to 5 years and couples 3-5 and 6-8 years. Clinton County Hospital’s auxiliary will be hosting a scrub uniform sale Thursday, March 24 in the dining room from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. They will have brand names like Cherokee, Landau, Wink, Grey’s Anatomy and more. Commissions will go to the auxiliary.
