The American Red Cross Blood Drive was held last week at the Clinton County Hospital. Hospital volunteer Carol McWhorter, who donated her day helping with the event, contributed these photos of a few of the donors.

In the top photo, hospital employees Robin Thomas and Angela Storie are shown donating during the blood drive.

Below left, James Hubbard, 53, is employed at Patriot Industries. He said he has been donating blood since he was a high school student.

Four members of the Staton family donated blood. Pictured below right are Paige Staton, Mona Staton, holding Owen, and Jessica Tallent. Not pictured is Kyle Staton who also donated.

The blood drive goal had been set at 35 pints and while 35 individuals were presented to make donations, only 27 pints were accepted for a 78 percent collection rate.
