Play ball . . . in the fall!
The 2013-14 school year is well under way, and with a new school year comes the arrival and coverage of the lineup of fall athletics at Clinton County High School.
While the Golf Dawgs and Lady Golf Dawgs had their respective seasons start several weeks ago, the Kickin’ Dawgs soccer teams and Volley Dawgs volleyball action is just getting started.
This weekend, our gridiron Bulldogs open up the 2013 season as they play host to the Bobcats from just across the state line in Pickett County Tennessee. Kickoff is slated for 7:00 p.m. at Bulldog Field.
In just a few weeks, Clinton County’s Runnin’ Dawgs cross country squads will get into action.The Clinton County News will once again be covering as many of the matches, meets and games as possible this fall and this week, we present our readers with our close-up look at the lineup of sports and the young athletes who will be representing Clinton County this fall.
