The Clinton County Bulldogs won the 4th Region All “A” Classic Tournament Sunday for the second year in a row.
Clinton County played Monroe County at Todd County Central High School and defeated the Falcons 62-47.
The Dawgs made it to the championship game by defeating Foundation Christian Academy on Tuesday of last week, 71-26, Cumberland County on Thursday night, 71-61, and Monroe County on Sunday afternoon.
With the win, Clinton County will play in the state tournament next week with its first game being on Thursday, January 23, in Owensboro, Kentucky. A Clinton County man was found dead on April 9, 2024. Carlos Allan Neal, 76, lived on Bell Camp Road in Clinton County, was found dead at his residence.
According to Coroner Lonnie Scott, preliminary findings indicated Neal passed away of cardiac arrest.
